The Macquarie 29 Sportz is the ultimate utility 5th wheeler. It features a large rear multi-purpose storage box that can be fitted out according to how you plan to use the van, a rear drop-down door that also doubles as a ramp, and optional external and internal access doors and windows.
The box is available in 4 different sizes, 1.3m (in Macquarie 27 Sportz only), 1.7m, 2.2m, and 2.7m. The possibilities of what you can use this extra room for are only limited by your imagination. Some of the suggestions we have received from existing owners include storage for quad bikes/motorcycles, a kennel for pets, a separate room for the kids, a room for your home workshop or office, a room for hobbies such as sewing or collecting, room to run a business from the back of your van, disabled access, and many more.
The Sportz is also ideal for outdoor living. When you are travelling, you tend to spend most of your time outside, because isn’t that what you have come to experience in the first place? All of Travelhomes fifth wheelers are ready made for fun in the sun, with external speakers, TV mount, shower, power outlets, lights, BBQ gas bayonet, a big roll out awning, and optional bike rack and drop-down table.
We also have a fully enclosed annexe available that fits directly to the wall and awning of your Travelhome and includes walls, flyscreen windows, doors, and floor. The Sportz takes this even further with its very open design, and its rear door that can be locked into a horizontal position and can have a special Sportz annexe attached to form a great sun room off the ground and protected from the weather.
