The new Macquarie 27 fifth wheeler takes the classic Macquarie 25 and adds more. For starters, the payload has been increased from 750kg to 990kg - that’s nearly a tonne! There is plenty of extra storage space available, with a triple wardrobe as well as all the usual overheads, cupboards, storage boxes, and of course, the enormous Travelhome boot.
One feature that has to be mentioned is the extended bathroom. Featuring a separate vanity, a larger shower with a shower door, and a separate toilet, the extended bathroom offers all the comfort and luxury of a five star hotel suite. The exterior of the bathroom has been finished with decorative fabric and mirrors for that extra flash of style.
Combined with all the usual stylish elements found across the entire Travelhome range, the Macquarie 27 could one of the best-looking and functional interiors around.
But the beauty isn’t just skin deep. Only the strongest and most advanced materials are used the construction of the Travelhome fifth wheeler. The chassis construction draws on decades of experience in the design of vehicle bodies and utilises many weight-saving techniques to deliver a light but strong galvanised steel box chassis.
