In addition, Australian Motorhomes, based in Bennetts Green, also received Trade Bronze Gumnut Award for the development of environmentally sustainable practices.
Barry Baillie, CEO of the CCIA says that the Awards of Excellence recognise caravan and holiday parks, manufactured home villages and estates, caravan and RV manufacturers and dealers as well as industry suppliers across 23 categories for business excellence.
“The Awards of Excellence is the industry’s highlight event which recognises business excellence in the caravan and camping sector and is the highest accolade that a caravan, RV or camping business can achieve.”
Judges were impressed with Australian Motorhomes’ commitment to high quality customer service from the time customers enter the premises until the moment they leave with their vehicle. Staff and product supply as well as presentation of the premises were also commended.
“Australian Motorhomes is an excellent example of the commitment of RV dealers to developing environmental practices that benefit the future of the industry in addition to preserving the touring experience of customers,” said Mr Barry Baillie.

The CCIA Awards of Excellence served as a grand finale to a two day conference (28-29 July) titled “Unity makes a great industry stronger” at Cypress Lakes Resort in Cessnock.
